Alison Bolshoi

Alison Bolshoi, Contralto, made her Carnegie Hall debut in May of 2018 with MidAmerica Productions, and traveled to Greece in the summer of 2018 with American composer Lowell Liebermann for a new chamber music festival. In November she sang Brangäne in a Tristan und Isolde with New York Opera Collaborative at Opera America, NYC. Ms. Bolshoi is thrilled to be covering Ortrud in Lohengrin at The Dallas Opera, in 2020.

Soprano engagements include covering Senta in Der Fliegende Holländer, with The San Francisco Opera; Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier, with The Huntsville Symphony, Alabama; soloist for the Alfredo Silipigni Memorial Concert, New Jersey State Opera; soloist in a Wagner concert with La Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona; soloist at the Bach to Bartok Festival, Imola, Italy; soloist for a gala concert, Český Krumlov, Czech Republic with the Prague Symphony, and Foreign Princess in Rusalka. Ms. Bolshoi won the Liederkranz International Competition, Wagner Section and The Gerda Lissner Foundation Award.
